Empower Kingston is a Communities for Local Power paid workforce program that places trainees with local trade employers for 6 weeks of hands-on work experience and mentoring. Trainees receive OSHA-10 certification and experience different worksites, receiving career training in home air sealing/weatherization, energy auditing, plumbing, electrical, constriction, solar panel installation, & HVAC services. All partnered businesses and contractors use green energy practices in their work.
